Welcome you to our February ILP meeting.

We had a very rewarding meeting in January at Anna's where we explored how consciousness impacts our language and how language impacts our consciousness (what we say to others and what we say to ourselves). And we shared the words we currently most use that best express our integrally-informed lives.

For our February meeting, we are delighted to have Irina presenting the best part of her workshop called: Agency and Communion, how to grow together from healthy confrontations.

here is a brief introduction of her workshop:

Agency and Communion:
How to Grow Together from Healthy Confrontations

We all have a need to belong, to be accepted, to be loved and appreciated. At the same time, we all have a drive to assert our independence and express our unique individuality. Do you sacrifice one for the other? Come to this experiential workshop and have fun exploring ways to express yourself honestly during confrontation without jeopardizing your interconnection.

About Irina Petrova:

Irina is if not integrally-informed, is at least integrally-intensely-curious gestalt therapist (under supervision) in private practice and a member of the interdisciplinary team at Mind& Body Integrated Medicine Clinic. She combines her education in group leadership, psychotherapy and philosophy with experience in human rights advocacy work and considerable management experience. Her special gifts are clarity of vision and ruthless compassion.

We look much forward to it and we also look forward to seeing you there.

Anna and Jacques

PS

For those of you that are new and those returning to our meetings, what follows is a short overview to give our current structure and an idea of the unfolding of the evening.

Toronto ILP Cross-Training Team
Personal, Experiential and Integral Community Development

- What we do: We share our own personal life experiences and practices in their diversity and complexity. We use Wilber's AQAL approach as a guide/framework and respect each team member's evolving worldview. The emphasis of our meetings is on first-person sharing, talking as "I" about our challenges and successes, and our intentions and growing edges in all quadrants. As a team, we are there to learn together, share perspectives, and stretch each other. We hold open highest potential for our growth individually and collectively. We offer some time in bodhisatva consciousness for well-being in our human family

- Our Team Agreements: Respectful listening and non-judgement of everyone's experience, support for every member's growth in all quadrants and lines, and willingness to engage honestly and creatively.

Fluid structure of a regular meeting:
- potluck dinner at 6:00 pm
- meeting starting at 7:00 with a 10 min. meditation/grounding exercise;
- 30-60 min. personal sharing;
- 45-60 min. for an experiential exercise, practice or learning activity lead by one or more members;
- 15 min. debriefing and sharing;
- 10 min. closing meditation.
