Finally there is a forum for Integral thinkers in the Brisbane area to meet and connect. The Integral wave is building like an ethereal tsunami that is quietly drenching the world with tolerance, compassion, understanding and hope for the future. How this impacts on each of us is of course a matter of our own choosing, but Integral theory suggests that together, as a community, our first task is to support each other in our unique and individual quests to manifest a better life for ourselves and our loved ones. As a community, we also create the opportunity to ignite collective change towards a more inclusive, compassionate society.

With each new year we see more of the emergence of something amazing and beautiful. a way of looking and being that is integrally informed and so empowered to deal effectively and peacefully with the real challenges we face at addresses all over the AQAL framework. In my personal search for what is needed to 'save the world', being integrally informed is it for me. It's the next great leap, and the enviro-clock is ticking, and the other option is eventual regression into tribal mentality as we fight to survive the environmental calamities. For me, this calls like the ring of a clarion bell.

This new consciousness will emerge at a rate that will, in some tiny part, be determined by us, at least in SE Qld. By our own good karma we have stumbled on Ken's inspired work and got excited enough about it to want to pursue it in the collective world (which I guess is part of the reason we show up at meetings). For me, the more I come to really grok the model the more I want to share it and see it impacting on the wellbeing of millions and eventually billions of people and squillions of other sentient beings.

My dare is to dream big. I dream that in some future moment, we will observe as a group the positive consequences of the adoption of the integral model in numerous aspects of our culture (education, medicine, governance, etc), and our souls will sing in chorus for the wellbeing so created, and to know in that moment that the world is a slightly better place for my having been here. How can we use our collective skills to make such a dream come true? That's the question that alive for me right now. If that strikes a chord in you, then please come along.
