I finally got around to reading Chris' law article. I'm very glad I did, and I highly recommend it. While in general law articles are not exactly my cup of tea, as soon as I encountered a reference to Ken Wilber, I began to feel on familiar territory, and really got in to it. I think his application of the research on stage development to judicial decisions is a wonderful and germane response to Wilber's call to submitting all social areas to the integral test and model. Some questions that the article begged in my mind are: To what extent is our current judicial system (and by extension our political system) conducive to promoting or applying integral thinking? How do our systems compare with others (as in other countries) in this regard? And what could/might be done to promote integral awareness among these systems' representative organizations and agencies? Thanks very much, Chris, for this wonderful contribution. I hope you've gotten good responses from it. William
